Yesterday, Adam returned and ripped out the original kitchen floor down to the sub-floor (diagonal boards), along with a ceiling in the eating area, exposing a higher second ceiling which holds the insulation under the rafters - this is a good development. Jeff and Josh returned later in the day to help demo, clear, and clean out the debris.
Some holes in the old floor to the basement became clear. Tomorrow should be more dramatic.
