False Advertising

As a trademark lawyer, the wordsmith knows all about false advertising.  But all that knowledge was not enough to stop her from being guilty of it herself last weekend.

The wordsmith is shown below in an apron embroidered with "Made from Scratch" on it. When she appeared in Erica's door wearing the apron and suggested that Erica have breakfast soon, Erica read the message on her apron and asked, "have you baked biscuits?"

"How would I do that?"the wordsmith replied sadly, "we only have a toaster oven right now."    Note the lack of any ovens in the kitchen area of the photo.

But, all that will change soon enough.  In the meantime, the photographer took her out for waffles (since the waffle iron requires a flame rather than a hot plate).
