What's Up? (What's down)

Have you given up on us? Well don't yet. This week is bringing a lot of changes. It all started last week with a mostly thorough removal of all kitchen items by me, with help from Erica.

On Monday of this week Adam (our intrepid Project Manager) came over and set up some zipper doors, took a couple of old doors down, and did some exploration of the basement as well as the floor and ceiling on the first floor. On Tuesday, Adam brought Dave along and moved the fridge into the dining room. Dave knocked down the basement ceiling under the kitchen area, while our plumber Rusty, set up a temporary sink for us. We basically have a new kitchen in the dining room.

Today is also the first day of demolition. Jeff and Josh are here for the next 3-4 days tearing down and ripping out cabinets, walls, old appliances, etc. What will they find? Well, Adam and Dave found two bottles. The Vodka bottle was empty when they passed it to me... hmmm.

Andy and Greg are here to move the existing A. C. unit from the patio area next to the kitchen to a far corner of the house. The windows above the old unit placement will become a door with a porch and steps leading out to the back patio. A lot more convenient for grilling! You're all invited when we're done.

Tomorrow, demolition update photos! Don't forget your hardhat.
